THIS PAGE GIVES A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE CURRENT APPRATUS OF THE IMLER FIRE COMPANY.

Engine - Rescue 42-12

42-12 is a 2006 Spartan/Crimson Engine-Rescue purchases with help from the Federal Assistance to Firefighters grant program. This unit has all of the 42 crew's rescue equipment and is the front line piece out the door for accidents and fires.

Engine - Brush 42-15

42-15 is a 1976 Ford pumper purchased brand new by the members of the Fire Company in 1976. This unit is currently in service today and is mainly used for brush fires and 2nd engine out for fires.

Tanker 42-24

42-24 is a 1997 Mack Tanker purchased with insurance money from the 1997 fires that destroyed most of our equipment. This unit carries 3000 gallons of water and has a 1750 gpm pump.

Brush 42-62

42-62 also known as 42-Brush is a 1954 Dodge 4x4 loaned to us by the Dept. of forestry. This unit carries 300 gallons of water and responds to all our brush, grass and field fires. It carries all sorts of brush fire equipment.
