06-27-09 -  At 21:41 Co. 42 along with Unit 18 was dispatched for a Motorcycle Accident on Burnt House Road in the area of the Burnt Cabins. 42-32 & 42-12 responded, updated info 2 patients on motorcycle who hit a deer, 1 with possible head injury. 42-32 requested 1 chopper on standby and 1 EMS Unit from Beaverdale be dispatched. 42-32 & 42-12 arrived to find 2 patients needing air support. Chief 42-01 requested Sta. 86 (Blue Knob Fire Co.) to set-up an Landing Zone at the Pavia ballfield. 911 advised the closest medic was coming from Duncansville. Unit 18 stated they was not waiting on a chopper they was going to ground transport their pt. BLS to Conemaugh The other Pt. was flown by Stat Medi-Vac to Conemaugh. Co. 42 was back in and ready at 22:50.

06-25-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was called to assist Medic 417 at 19:52 on Jefferson Lane in Queen for a Medical Call. 42-32 responded and assisted medic 417 and they requested that if available 2 of our EMT's ride along to Nasn Er with them due to the condition of the patient. 2 EMT's done so and the rest of the crew returned.

06-25-09 -  Co. 42 along with Unit 21 and Medic 11 was called for a Motorcycle accident at the Blinking Light at 14:30. 42-12 & 42-32 responded to find car vs. motorcycle. 42-32 proveded EMS care and 42-12's crew provided traffic control and clean-up. 1-1/2 bags of absorbant was used. Co. 42 was back in at 15:33.

06-22-09 -  At 07:24 Co. 42 along with Blair County Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) was dispatched for a 1 vehicle accident on I-99 near milemarker 13 in the Northbound lane. 42-12 arrived and found 1 vehicle down in the woods with 1 patient out of the vehicle. EMS trained crew provided care to the patient until Medic 417 arrived, and the rest of the crew provided help and traffic control to the towing service. 42 was released by PSP, and returned to base.

06-20-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 10:36 with Unit 21 for a Medical Call on Burnt House Road. 42-32 responded and provided medical care until Unit 21 arrived and loaded the patient. QRS was released and returned to base.

06-19-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 20:03 with Unit 21 for a Medical Call on Burnt House Road. 42-32 responded and found this was for a Lift Assist only the patient was not injuried and did not want to go to the hospital. 42-QRS canceled Unit 21 and completed call and returned to base.

06-14-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched to assist Medic 11 to set up a Landing Zone at the Imler Firehall Landing Pad at 02:13. 42-12 set up the L.Z. for Stat Medi-Vac 11 which was on the pad at 02:33 and was back in the air at 02:55. Co. 42 was back in and ready at that time also.

06-14-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 01:45 to assist Unit 21 for a Medical Call on Pine Knob Road. Unit 21 was unabl to crew out and Unit 11 was dispatched to handle the call. 42-QRS arrived and help with patient care until Unit 11 loaded the patient, 42-QRS was released by Medic 11. and was returning at 02:13.

06-09-09 -  At 22:53 Co. 42 along with Co. 31, 38, 41 & Sta. 70 was dispatched for a 1st Alarm Structure Fire on the Box 42-05 on William Penn Road just before Dean's Tire. 42-12 & 42-24 responded and 42-Chief requested Sta. 70 be upgraded from an Engine Transfer to a Tranker to the scene and an Engine to the Fill site at Osterburg and requested Sta. 40 to Transfer into Imler. 42-12 arrived to find a Fully Engulfed house fire. 42-12 laid 200' of 5" back a lane and supplied Engine 41-18 and had (2) 1- 3/4 hand lines to attack the fire. Co. 42 returned at 01:11 and was back in and ready at 01:35. 

06-05-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 20:09 to assist Co. 38 with a Tanker to the scene of a Barn Fire on Stone Church Road in the Fishertown Area and an Engine Transfer to Co. 38 hall. 42-24 responded to the scene and 42-12 &  42-15 responded to Co. 38 Hall for standby. Co. 42 was released and back in at 00:36.

06-05-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 10:40 for a Fuel Spill on William Penn Road in Osterburg near the Osterburg General Store. 42-12 arrived and contained the spill with 1 bag of absorbant, and waited until Penndot arrived to place sand over the spill.

06-03-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 15:03 for a Medical Call in Osterburg, shortly after going enroute 42-32 was canceled, and returned to service. Co. 42 was back in at 15:10.

06-01-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 17:05 for Wires Down at the Country Store in Osterburg. 42-12 arrived onscene and done Traffic Control until Penelec arrived and put the wires back up. Co. 42 was back in at 17:38.

05-30-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 14:24 with Unit 21 for a Medical patient on N. Imler Valley Road. Unit 21 was not able to Crew out so Medic 417 from Hollidaysburg EMS was dispatched to handle the call. Co. 42-QRS helped load the patient and was released and back in at 15:07.

05-24-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 07:12 to assist Unit 21 & Medic 417 for a Medical patient on S. Scrubgrass Road. Co. 42 was released after we helped load the patient, and back in at 07:44.

5-15-09 -  Co. 42 along with Co. 38, Medic 11 & Unit 21 was dispatched at 19:57 for a 1 vehicle accident on Miller Road in Lincoln Township. 42-32 & 42-12 responded to find 1 vehicle into a tree with 1 patient. Medic 11 requesting a helicopter to the scene. Chief 42-1 requested Co. 38 to handle the Landing Zone on Miller Road near the intersection. Co. 42 was cleared and back in at 21:50. 

05-11-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 17:00 to assist Unit 21 and Medic 11 for a Medical patient on Main Street in St. Clairsville Boro. Medic 11 arrived and then Unit 21 arrived 42-32 Crew helped load patient and was released and back in at 17:33

05-07-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 01:28 to assist Unit 21 for a Medical patient on S. Scrubgrass Road. 42-32 responded and assisted until Unit 21 arrived, and released Co. 42, we was back in at 02:06.

5-6-09 -  At 07:12 Co. 42 was hit for a 1st alarm on the Box 42-02 which called for Co. 31, 38, 41, & Sta. 70 for a Structure Fire on William Penn Road. At 07:15 Bedford 911 advised that a 2nd call stated they got the fire out and advised to cancel. 42-Base advised to place the Box back into service with Chief Engineer Barger onscene confirming fire was out and to cancel. Box back in service at 07:20.

5-5-09 -  At 17:07 Co. 42 was dispatched with Unit 21 for a 2 Vehicle Accident on Mowry's Mills Road approx 1-1/2 miles from the Firehall near Claycombs Curve. 42-12 & 42-32 responded to find no Injuries and canceled Unit 21. Co. 42 provided Traffic Control until released by PSP. Co. 42 was back in at 18:15.

5-2-09 -  At 14:35 Co. 42-QRS was dispatched to Assist Unit 21 and Medic 11 fo a Unresponsive Paient after a seizure. Updated Info was that the patient was in Cardiac Arrest. 42-QRS arrived and requested 10-C. Unit 21 arrived and took over care and released 42-32. Co. 42 was back in at 15:03.

5-1-09 -  At 08:49 Co. 42 was dispatched on the Box 42-02 for a vehilce accident with injuries on William Penn Road just N. of the Ivy Stone. 42-Chief responding direct. 42-QRS responded. Chief 42-1 requested Co. 38-Rescue to the scene. 42-32 arrived and assisted with patient care until Unit 21 arrived onscene. 38-16 arrived and provided traffic control. 42-Chief released 42-QRS after unit 21 cleared the scene with the patient. 42-Chief placed the Box back in service and we was back in and ready at 10:06.

4-28-09 -  Co. 42 was called at 17:10 to assist Blair County Sta. 86 (Blue Knob Fire Co.) with a tanker for a Brush Fire on Bag Pipe Lane off of Piper Lane. Tanker 42-12 responded with 2 updated info this was a dump fire. Tanker 42-24 arrived at tanker staging and dumped 1 load of water and was released by Chief 86-04 and returned. 42-24 was back in at 20:13.

4-28-09 -  Co. 42 was call at 14:41 on the Box 42-03 for a Tree/Power lines down on Burnt House Road in Pavia. 42-12 responded under the direction of Chief 42-1. Assisted until the Power Co. arrived. Co. 42 was back in and ready at 16:27.

4-26-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 08:28 to assist Unit 21 in Osterburg. QRS Crews assisted unit released by Unit 21 and returned at 09:59.

4-24-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 07:13 to assist Unit 21 in Osterburg. QRS Crews assisted unit released by Unit 21 and returned at 07:51.

4-21-09 -  Co. 42-QRS  was dispatched at 10:29 to assist Unit 21 in Imler. QRS Crew assisted until released by Unit 21 and returned at 11:48. 

4-19-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 14:39 to assist Medic 417 (Hollidaysburg EMS) for a 4-wheeler accident on Feathers Road. Co. 42 assisted until Medic 417 arrived and loaded the patient. 42-32 was back in at 15:10. 

4-17-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 18:11 to assist Blair Co. Sta. 70 for a Brush Fire on Walters Hollow Road in Queen. 42-24 & 42-67 responded under the direction of Chief 42-1. Crews assisted Sta. 70 and was released by Chief 70-01. Co. 42 was back in at 19:35.

4-5-09 -  At 20:46 while on standby at Southern Cove (Co. 41) 42-12 was called for a Brush Fire in Woodbury. Chief 42-1 and 42-12 arrived onscene to find that this was a controlled burn. Chief 42-1 placed the box back in service and returned at 2120.

4-5-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 18:19 for an engine transfer to Co. 41 while they was assisting Co. 32 at a barn fire. 42-12 responded non-emergency to Southern Cove under the direction of Chief 42-1. Co. 42 was released from standby at 23:17.

4-4-09Co. 42 was dispatched at 22:49 on the Box 42-02 for a 1st alarm Structure Fire on William Penn Road just North of the Ivy Stone. Along with Co. 42, assistance from Co. 31, 38, 41, Blair Co. Sta. 70 and Unit 21 was also called in. Updated info this was a shed on fire with equipment and 2 round bails of hay inside. wind was blowing this towards a house and a barn. Firefighters extinished the fire and was back in and ready at 00:54. 

4-3-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 10:46 on the Box 42-02 for an MVA on Hertiage Road. 42-12 responded and found a dump truck that ran off the roadway and no-one was around. Chief 42-1 placed everyone back in service at 11:26.

3-24-09 -  Co. 42 along with Co. 38 was dispatched at 16:56 for a Brush Fire on S. Scrubgrass Road. 42-15, 42-24, & 42-67 responded along with 83-12, 38-28, & 38-68 to find approx. 100 X 100 area of Trash and Rubbish along with some woods on fire. After we put the fire out we used some Foam just for precautionary measures. 42-1 released everyone at 17:59 and Co. 42 was back in at 18:04.

3-23-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 16:24 along with Co. 38 Brush for a Brush Fire on Schellsburg Road. 42-24, & 42-67 along with 38-68 responded. Put fire out with help of 38-Brush Crews. 42-Chief released Co. 38 at 17:09 and The 42 Crew was back in and ready to go at 17:26. 

3-23-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 16:19 to assist Unit 18 (Chestnut Ridge EMS) on Hertiage Road for a medical patient. Assisted until Unit 18 arrived and released us. 42-32 was back in at 16:49. 

3-23-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 08:58 to assist Medic 417 (Hollidaysburg EMS at Claysburg) on William Penn Road for A medical patient. assisted until Medic 417 arrived and released QRS. 42 was in and ready at 09:34.

3-20-09 -  Co. was called at 16:51 for a Tanker assist to Co. 31 for a Garage Fire. 42-24 responded and assisted until released at 19:12 and back in at 19:24.

3-18-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 16:19 for a Grass Fire along the roadway on Hertiage road close to Pine Knob Road. 42-24 and 42-67 responded, put the fire out and was back in and ready at 16:46.

3-18-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 02:45 to assisted Co. 38 with a Tanker to the scene and an Engine transfer. 42-24 enroute and just before 42-12 went enroute, 38-Chief canceled everyone except Co. 38 because the fire was contained to the porch area. Co. 42 was in and ready at 03:12

3-14-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 18:39 along with Co. 41 engine for a vehicle fire on Brumbaugh Mountain. after 42-12 went enroute dispatched advised that the fire was out. 42-Chief canceled Co. 41, and 42-12 proceeded in and done traffic control until they got the vehicle off the road. The 42 Crew was back in and ready at 19:30.

3-14-09 -  The 42 Crew was dispatched at 12:48 for an in house standby for Co. 38 while they was going to a Brush/Field Fire in the Lovely Area. Co. 42 was released and ready at 13:03. 

3-11-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 13:42 to assist Co. 31 for a Field Fire on Dogwood Road, off of Pensyl Hollow Road. 42-24, 42-67 responded and assisted Co. 31. Co. 31 had another Brush Fire on Old 220 across from the Old American Outfitters. 31-4 requested that 42-24 respond along with them to that fire. The 42 Crew was back in at 15:44.

3-6-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 14:28 to assist Medic 417 (Hollidaysburg EMS at Claysburg) for a medical patient on Texas drive, Imler. Assisted until Medic 417 arrived. Medic 417 released QRS and returned at 15:09. 

3-5-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 16:47 to assist Blair County Station 70 for a Brush/Field Fire on Buttermilk Hollow Road just off of Ski Gap Road. 42-15, 42-24, 42-67 responded and helped put the fire out and returned to base after being released by 70-01. 42-Chief had Co. 38 on standby at there hall for us.

3-5-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 12:05 along with Co. 41-Brush for a brush fire on William Penn Road, just North of the Ivy Stone. arrived to find a brush fire that spread from a controlled burn. Fire was put out with help from Co. 41-Brush. Co. 42 was back in at 13:46.

3-3-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched at 17:10 to assist Medic 417 at a motor vehicle accident on Schellsburg Road. dispatched advised this was close to the King / Kimmel Township line. 42-QRS advised this was Co. 42's first due area that the engine needed to be dispatched. dispatch argued the the call came from Blair County and they only requested our QRS. as 42-32 was arriving onscene the engine was dispatched. 42-12 arrived just after 70-12 and found 1 vehicle off the roadway and 1 patient not injuried. 42-12 released Sta. 70. PSP released Co. 42. The 42-Crew was back in at 17:55 

2-28-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched along with Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) for a 2 vehicle accident on I-99, Southbound lane, North of the Imler Exit at Milemarker 12. Arrived to find both vehicle off the roadway, and 1 minor injury. Assisted EMS and released by PSP and returned. 

2-26-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched to set-up a Landing Zone for Medic 11 and Unit 21 at the Osterburg Ballfield. Stat-Medivac was coming in, after the chopper was on the ground we assisted in loading the patient in the chopper. Chopper lifted off and Co. 42 was returned to service.

2-26-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 and Medic 11 for a patient who fell off his bike and in active seizures. 42-QRS assisted until Medic 11 arrived and requested a Chopper to the scene. Assisted until Unit 21 had the patient loaded and then we was released.  

2-25-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched to assist Medic 417 (Hollidaysburg at Claysburg) for a medical patient on William Penn Road. Just before 42-QRS arrived we was canceled by Medic 417. 42-QRS returned to base.

2-23-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was called to assist Medic 422 (Amed from East Freedom) for a medical patient on S. Imler Valley Road. Assisted until Medic 422 arrived onscene, 42-QRS was released and returned to base.

2-23-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched to Assist Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) on Walter's Hollow Road. Tanker 42-24 and Engine 42-12 responded and assisted Sta. 70 with Fire Attack, Overhaul, and Mop-up. Chief 70-01 released everyone and the 42-Crew returned to base.

2-20-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched to assist Unit 21 for a medical patient. The QRS-Crew assisted until Unit 21 arrived and we was released and returned.

2-19-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 07:30 on the Box 42-04 for A Single Vehicle Accident on Schellsburg Road. 42 12 responded along with Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) to find 1 Vehicle on it's wheels off the roadway. Co. 42 assisted PSP and returned and back in at 08:35.

2-17-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 16:58 on the Box 42-04 for a Field Fire on William Penn Road. 42-15 & 42-24 responded along with Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) to find a small field fire just about out. The 42-Crew's and 70-Crew's doused the area and returned and back in at 17:45.

02-16-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 & Medic 11 for a patient with seizure like activity on South Scrubgrass Road at 19:57. QRS assisted Nedic 11 & Unit 21, and was released and back in at 20:35.  

2-16-09 -  Co. 42 was requested by 38-Chief at 00:44 to assist on the Box 37-02 for a Tanker to the scene and 1 Engine to the fill site at Amick's Pond, for a House Fire. 42-24 & 42-12 responded. 42-12 filled 8 tankers while at the fill site, 42-24 dumped 2 loads of water. The 42-Crew was released at 04:23 and was back in at 04:39. 

2-13-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 12:10 on the Box 42-01 for an Inside Investagation on S. Dakota Road. 42-12 & 42-24 Responded along with an Engine from Co. 38 (Alum Bank Fire Co.) and found A possible Carbon Monoxide Call. Checked the house with the C.O. Meter and everything checked out Okay. Co. 42 was back in at 12:51.

2-12-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 and Medic 11 for a Patient who has Fallen from a roof on Morgan Lane, Osterburg at 17:43. QRS assisted Unit 21 onscene. 42-QRS was released by Unit 21 and back in at 18:22. 

2-12-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 12:15 for a Pole down across the roadway on Hog Farm Road. Just after dispatch Co. 42 was canceled and Co. 38 was dispatched due to the fact this call was just off of Reynoldsdale Road. Co. 42 was available at 12:16.

2-12-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 06:55 on the Box 42-01 1st alarm House Fire on Swamp Bottom Lane. 42-12, 42-15 & 42-24 responded along with Co. 31, 38, 41, 70, & 86. Somehow either Bedford 911 or Blair 911 messed the Box up and Sent Blair County Sta. 40 for 2 tankers, Sta. 60 for a R.I.T, & Sta. 50 for their Air Truck. Co. 42 arrived onscene to find heavy fire to the 1st floor. A Great Job Goes Out to the Intital Attack Crews For A Quick Knockdown which saved the house. Crews were onscene until 09:51. The 42 crew was back in and ready at 09:54.   

2-12-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 06:16 for a Tree Down on Ridge Road in Kimmel Township. The 42 crew responded in P.O.V's and found nothing, While responding to this call Bedfrod 911 advised of another call for wires down on N. Imler Valley Road. 42-Chief requested Blair County Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) handle this call. Co. 42 was back in at 06:30.

2-1-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 21:03 on the Box 42-03 to search for a Vehicle with a person with a possible medical conditon in it, somewhere on Moneument Road in the Pavia Area. 42-12 responded at 21:10. At 21:18 Bedford 911 was advised to cancel the call by orders of PSP. Co. 42 was back in at 21:23.

1-27-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 17:04 for a Full House assist with Blair County Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) for a house fire on Whitetail Court. 70-01 canceled all units except Sta. 70. Co. 42 was In service at 17:07.

1-25-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 21:47 to Transfer 1 Engine to Blair County Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) Before 42-12 went enroute we was canceled by 70-02. Co. 42 was In service at 21:55.

1-24-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 22:27 for a single vehicle accident on William Penn Road just north of the Ivy Stone. 42-12 responded. arrived onscene to find 1 vehicle that took off a telephone pole went down over the embankment and onto a porch of a house and came to rest on the side of the road. The 2 patient's were approx. 1/2 mile down the road with PSP. Unit 21 transported both patient's. Co. 42 remained onscene until the towing service and the utility co. arrived and cleared us from the scene. Co. 42 was back in at 23:58. 

1-22-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 07:31 to assist Blair County Sta. 70 (Claysburg Fire Co.) for a Vehicle Fire just North of the King Church. Tanker 42-24 responded and was canceled while enroute. Co. 42 was back in at 07:42.

1-21-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 03:25 to Transfer 1 engine to C0. 37 (Shawnee Valley Fire Co.) for standby. Engine 42-12 responded and stoodby at Co. 37 until we was requested to respond to the fill site to relieve C0. 32 (Everett Fire Co.) Co. 42 was released by 37-Command and was back in Imler at 09:59. 

1-17-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 21:17 to assist Co. 38 (Alum Bank Fire Co.) at a Structure Fire on Wayne Blvd. Tanker 42-24 and Engine 42-12 responded. 38-Chief canceled everything except for Co. 38 and Co. 42. Co. 42 arrived and assisted Co. 38. and was released by 38-Command at 22:03. Co. 42 was back in service at 22:21. 

1-16-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Hollidaysburg Ambulance (Claysburg Station) at 13:35 for a Unresponsive Male on Schellsburg Road. Just prior to QRS arriving onscene, dispatched updated that this was a self inflicted gunshot wound. Medic 417 arrived and 42-QRS was released and returned at 14:19.

1-15-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 17:59 for a Tanker standby in our hall for Co. 41. Imler had a Tanker crew standby at our hall until we were released by Co. 41 at 21:26. 

1-12-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 for a seizure patient on Wild Honeysuckle Drive. QRS Assisted    Unit 21 onscene. QRS was released and returned to base.

1-11-09 -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 23:50 for a 1 vehicle accident on Kauffman Hollow Road. 42-12 & 42-32 Responded. Co. 42 found 1 patient not injuried and 1 D.O.A. Unit 21 Assisted with 2 crews, and 42-Chief requested Co. 31 to close the road at 220 & Kauffman Hollow Road. Co. 42 cleared the scene at 01:47 and was back in at 02:10. 

1-7-09 -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 for A General Illness Patient. Assisted Unit 21 onscene. QRS was released by Unit 21 crew and returned to base.

1-6-09  -  Co. 42-QRS was dispatched with Unit 21 for an Foot injury on Schellsburg Road. 42-32 arrived to find a 1 vehicle accident, Crew found 1 vehicle on it's roof in a creek. There was 5 people all out of the vehicle. Unit 21 arrived and everyone refused transport. 42-QRS was released and returned to Base. 

1-4-09  -  Co. 42 was dispatched at 17:47 to assist Co. 38 (Alum Bank Fire Co.) at a Garage Fire off of Silas Hill Road. Tanker 42-24 Responded to the scene and was canceled enroute. Engine 42-12 Responded to Co. 38 hall for Standby and released by 38-Chief at 19:11. Co. 42 was back in service at 19:21 hrs.
